Considering the freezing weather, we're going to experiment with something new—a 5:30 p.m. start. If 5:30 is too early for you, you may arrive anytime thereafter.
The three bars we'll visit are only a block or so apart on Courtney Place, so we'll simply wander from one to the next.
We'll kick things off at 5:30 p.m. at Dakota Bar, where Happy Hour means half-price drinks. For example, just $10 buys a double shot of premium spirits, and beers and wines are also half price.
At 7:00 p.m., we'll head to El Horno, where your first drink is free.
Then, at around 9:00 p.m., we'll make our way to the Vinyl Bar, where we'll enjoy discounted drinks, a newly expanded dance floor, and some of the best retro dance music in Wellington. Whether you love the classics from the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, or early 2000s, there will be plenty of great music to keep the dance floor hopping.
Even if you don't drink alcohol, you're guaranteed to have a fantastic evening. Great conversation, new friendships, and plenty of laughs are what make our meetups so enjoyable.
Newbies: When you arrive, please come and introduce yourself to me. I'll be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to the rest of the group. Before long, you'll feel as though you've known everyone for years.
