En lo alto del Collsacabra, suspendido sobre un acantilado de vértigo, se alza el Santuari del Far, un lugar donde la naturaleza, la historia y la espiritualidad se funden en un mismo paisaje. 🌿✨

Una ruta circular entre prados, bosques y balcones naturales que regala algunas de las panorámicas más espectaculares de la Garrotxa. Desde el santuario, las vistas se extienden sobre el Pantà de Susqueda, Rupit y Tavertet, en un horizonte que parece no tener fin.

🌄 Qué haremos

Comenzaremos la ruta en el Coll de Condreu, donde el sendero serpentea entre robles, encinas y prados abiertos. Cruzaremos el torrent de Condreu hasta el Pla de l’Om, una pradera verde y silenciosa que invita a detenerse y respirar profundamente.

A medida que avancemos, el terreno se volverá más panorámico y los riscos del Collsacabra se alzarán ante nosotros. En este tramo alcanzaremos la espectacular Cinglera del Far, uno de los balcones naturales más imponentes de Catalunya.

Llegaremos al Santuari del Far, un templo del siglo XV cargado de historia y leyenda. Desde su mirador contemplaremos una vista de 360º sobre las montañas, el pantano y los pueblos de la Garrotxa.
Aquí haremos una pausa para comer, visitar el santuario y disfrutar del silencio del lugar.

El regreso lo realizaremos por los bosques del Pla de Malla, un hayedo mágico donde la luz se filtra entre las hojas. El último tramo, a través del bosque del Bonegre, nos devolverá al Coll de Condreu, cerrando una jornada redonda entre riscos, calma y buena compañía. 🍂

At the top of Collsacabra, suspended on a vertiginous cliff, stands the Santuari del Far, a place where nature, history, and spirituality merge in the same landscape. 🌿✨

A circular route through meadows, forests, and natural balconies offers some of the most spectacular views of La Garrotxa. From the sanctuary, the views stretch over the Susqueda Reservoir, Rupit, and Tavertet, on a horizon that seems to have no end.

👉 A perfect experience for those seeking calm, beauty, and connection with nature in its most inspiring form.

What we will do
We will start the route at Coll de Condreu, where the trail winds through oak trees, holm oaks, and open meadows. We will cross the Condreu stream to Pla de l'Om, a green and quiet meadow that invites you to stop and take a deep breath.

As we continue, the terrain will become more panoramic and the cliffs of Collsacabra will rise before us. On this stretch, we will reach the spectacular Cinglera del Far, one of the most impressive natural balconies in Catalonia.

We will arrive at the Santuari del Far, a 15th-century temple steeped in history and legend. From its viewpoint, we will enjoy a 360º view of the mountains, the reservoir, and the villages of La Garrotxa.

Here we will stop for lunch, visit the sanctuary, and enjoy the silence of the place.

We will return through the forests of Pla de Malla, a magical beech forest where light filters through the leaves. The last stretch, through the Bonegre forest, will take us back to Coll de Condreu, ending a perfect day among cliffs, calm, and good company. 🍂
