This one’s for the bold. ❄️

Join the Toronto Outdoor Adventures Club for a winter BBQ on Olympic Island, overlooking Toronto’s skyline in total peace and quiet.
During winter, the ferry goes only to Wards Island, so we’ll walk about 2 km (25–30 minutes) to Olympic Island. The path is scenic and flat, with views of the frozen lake and city skyline.
At Olympic Island, we’ll fire up one of the raised BBQ pits and enjoy a cozy outdoor meal with unbeatable views. I’ll bring the 8 kg bag of charcoal, plates, and cutlery — just bring whatever you want grilled (meats, veggies, corn, bread, etc.) and your adventurous spirit. I’ll be your grill master for the day.

Why trek all the way out here for a BBQ in winter? Because no one else will. The island will be ours — quiet, secluded, and beautiful.

  • 1:15–4:30 p.m. — BBQ, relax, enjoy the skyline view
