About us

This Meetup is all about meeting great people across different industries; specifically those who are in DevOps / Cloud Automation / Networking / Infrastructure here in LA.
Together, we are looking to share experiences and knowledge through thought provoking conversations, the occasional trivia drinking game and through different Panels, TalenerTalks and Presentations that are given by our ever-so-generous Guests :)

Come join us for your next meetup and meet some great folks here in LA!

    Presentation Details:

Title: Agent Builder: Providing Relevant Context for Data Driven Agents
    Presented By: Mike Ng
    Description:
What are agents? What is context engineering? Join us as we dive into the importance of context engineering for providing relevant information to agents, and how to build grounded agents using Elastic Agent Builder.
    About Mike:
Before Ai Search @ Elastic, Mike has ~15 years of presales solution architecture in Data Protection, Storage and Security. Mike also has over 10 years of customer-side IT experience across varied industries.

Title: Open Claw Curious: How to Orchestrate an Autonomous AI Organization
    Presented By: Arsen Yeremin
    Description:
Building autonomous AI organizations requires more than just smart agents—it demands thoughtful orchestration across governance, incentives, and distributed infrastructure. In this talk, we’ll explore what “autonomous” really means in the context of architectural patterns that enable true self-governing teams, and walk through a production autonomous deployment architecture I’ve been building. We’ll cover how to implement verifiable workflows, and create the operational feedback loops that let autonomous systems improve themselves.
    About Arsen:
Arsen Yeremin is a CTO and solutions architect with 25+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years at the intersection of AI/ML and blockchain. He’s currently leading AI infrastructure and agentic systems at Tygher AI, and has previously served as Fractional CTO of Lilypad Network (decentralized compute for AI) and CTO of Blockfreight (blockchain-based global logistics). Arsen specializes in building production systems that combine autonomous agents, distributed consensus, and enterprise-grade reliability—with hands-on expertise in containerized LLM deployment, on-chain state anchoring, and distributed system design. When he’s not architecting the future of autonomous organizations, he’s exploring how to make decentralized AI genuinely usable for enterprises.

    About O'Brien's Pub on Wilshire:
The covered patio at Obrien's Pub has been a great place to host LA DevOps meetups for our post covid revival. The food and drink are great and the staff are very friendly. O'brien's is also the LA home of Manchester United Football Club Supporters.
You may want to bring a jacket for the cooler months.
Regarding parking, there are meters on Wilshire and the side streets that expire at 6.

Present at an Upcoming LA DevOps Meetup:
If you would like to present at an upcoming LA DevOps meetup please send a message in meetup to the organizers with a proposed title and a sentence or two about the talk.
