What we’re about
Life Voyagers is a safe and supportive space where people come together to better understand themselves, explore challenges, and work towards positive change.
Many of us struggle with issues such as low self-esteem, negative core beliefs, or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns. This group is here to remind you that you don’t have to face those challenges alone. Together, we share, listen, and support one another with empathy and encouragement.
Each week, we also set personal goals – small, achievable steps that help you stay accountable and move steadily towards the changes you want to make. These goals may involve working through self-help workbooks, exploring psychoeducational resources, or simply taking a practical step forward in your daily life.
I bring a background of over 10 years’ experience working with people with disabilities and mental health needs. I hold a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, and I am passionate about helping people feel heard, valued, and empowered. In the group, I draw on approaches such as coaching and motivational interviewing to gently support you in making the changes you wish to see in your life.
The group sessions are facilitated by somebody with both professional and personal experience of mental health, but they are not therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. They are designed for personal development, encouragement, and accountability, not as a therapeutic or clinical intervention. Please only join if you feel it is safe for you to do so. If you are currently struggling with significant mental health difficulties, it is best to speak with your GP or therapist for the right kind of support. The goal is to keep everyone safe and supported. Meetings will be transcribed using AI for training and monitoring purposes.
If you are unsure whether this group is the right fit for you, please feel free to contact me to discuss it before joining.
