CARNAVAL parade and tapas at Bagdad Café in Sion

• What we'll do
Meet downstairs in the arched cave of the café for conversation and tapas, then at 8.30 the parade will go right in front of the cafe so be prepared to be showered with confettis while dancing in the street to the rythms of the wild Guggen (marching bands). there will be a party with more music and dancing at the place de la Planta after the parade or drinks in warm cafés afterwards.
The Sion carnaval theme is "REVOLU-SION"so be prepared, (minimal effort) costume is welcome! this is the time when the Valaisans let loose at night and defy the winter gloom!

• What to bring
Wear a costume. The theme is "Revolu -Sion" but anything that is a revolution for you works... make sure you are ready for freezing temps and dancing in the street after our meetup at the Bagdad café cave.

• Important to know
we will share tapas in a fun café cave first. The at 8.30 we will watch the parade on rue du Grand Pont in the old Town Sion. It will be noisy, crowded and slippery if not freezing! and so FUN..
