Trails Day at Mandan Park

Meet at the picnic shelter near the newly opened nature center to sign the waiver and walk the trails. Cost is $4. Children under 12 free. Dogs welcome. This hidden park is impossible to see into from 13th Street which runs along its western edge. Its seclusion made it a great place to escape the city and experience nature. The park has been extensively renovated over the last couple of years. The trail we will walk follows the park’s level contour along the now closed road that used to run through the park.For those wishing to join us, we will stop for lunch after the walk.
