Prompt me Up! #2 - AI and Art

Dear Friends, colleagues, and fellow technologists,

I would like to invite you to the next event on our Generative AI series, this time looking at Ai and Art. This has been in the news since the launch of Dall-E, Midjourney and so many others, and consistently raises questions regarding ownership, copyright, and the extent of the impact of AI in the industry.

To kickstart our discussion, we will have a short introductory talk by Nicholas Borsotto, setting up the scene for our multi-disciplinary panel moderated by Hannah Payette Peterson to look at some of the questions surrounding those tools, and how technologists and artists feel about their ramifications for the future

Our panelists will be Allison W. Sommers - a mixed media Artist, Lucas Kummer - Senior Consultant at ThoughtWorks / Midjourney User, Max Penk - Creative Director of David+Martin and Roman Lipski - Pioneer in the field of quantum art.

To cap up off, we will be hosting our Gen AI Community round with Mario Savovski so don't forget to send him your ideas for a 5 min community story/pitch.

As always a good event takes a village, so we bring new partners to help us bring this discussion to life. We are lucky to count on and Osmosis, a community for creatives, techies, and artists, while our hosts are our OG partner - Thoughtworks Berlin!
