Tech-Up GBA Innovators Programme 粵港澳大灣區青年創客計劃

Tech-up GBA Innovators Programme, a sequel to the successful HKU Gear-up programme, is funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Fund. Designed to empower youth entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the programme will provide 14 selected start-ups with seed funding of up to HK$600,000 each, complemented by mentorship, co-working spaces, professional services, networking, and publicity opportunities. Eligibility:
An application must be made by either a start-up company or a team of at least two members, of which:

• The Person-in-Charge (PIC) must be an HKU member (student, staff, or alumni of HKU or its affiliated institutions), and HKU members should own at least 20% ownership in the applying or to-be-established company;
• or the start-up is commercializing or planning to commercialize HKU intellectual property

The PIC and core team member(s) must be Young Entrepreneurship Applicants (YEAs) who meet the following criteria:

• Age 18-39 and a Hong Kong Permanent Resident
• No bankruptcy history
• Start-up operational for less than 3 years
• Have not received funding from the Entrepreneurship Scheme under the YDF
• Plan or establish operations in Hong Kong or GBA cities
• No restrictions on the business type (businesses that are unlawful, involve tobacco, promote gambling, obscenity, etc., are excluded)

Up to 20% of shareholding may be held by individuals outside the eligibility criteria (Details please refer to the guidelines)

申請資格：
申請必須由新創公司或至少由兩名成員組成的團隊提出:

• 項目負責人必須是香港大學成員（學生、職員或校友或來自港大附屬機構），並在申請或將要成立的公司中擁有至少20%的所有權；或
• 該初創企業正在或計劃將香港大學的知識產權商業化

每份申請的負責人及核心團隊成員必須是符合以下條件的青年創業申請人：

• 年齡介乎18至39歲並為香港永久性居民
• 無破產記錄
• 初創企業營運少於3年
• 未曾獲得青年發展基金下的創業計劃資金資助
• 在香港或大灣區城市有或計劃展開業務
• 創業項目的業務不限（違法、涉及煙草、鼓吹賭博、淫穢等業務除外）

初創企業的部分股東可以為資格以外的人士組成，相關股份總計不能超過20% (詳情請查閱申請指引)
