We're excited to host a fireside chat with Rebecca Kaden of Union Square Ventures. She'll be interviewed by Michael Karnjanaprakorn (Skillshare Founder & Executive Chairman). We'll explore Rebecca's passion for the entrepreneurial ecosystem and her journey to becoming a Partner at Union Square Ventures.

Rebecca began her career as a journalist for the Economist in London and then a Special Projects Editor at Narrative. At Narrative, in addition to her editorial responsibilities, she was in charge of driving revenue and scaling the user base. Prior to joining USV, Kaden was a Partner at Maveron, a consumer-focused early stage fund. Rebecca joined Maveron full-time in 2012 upon completion of her M.B.A. at Stanford, and she played a leading role in their seed program.
In 2015, Forbes named Rebecca to its annual list of top “30 under 30” in venture capital, and Craig Newmark named her one of “5 Women Investors You Need to Know.” Rebecca holds an M.B.A. focused on Entrepreneurship and Leadership studies from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She earned a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard in 2008. New York born, Rebecca is excited to be back in the City working with innovative dreamers.
