### About the Event
The Writers Cafe is a cozy, come-as-you-are meetup for writers who want to create, share, and build community. Whether you’re drafting a book, journaling, or exploring your voice for the first time, this space is for you. No pressure, no judgment—just words, connection, and inspiration.
All genres and experience levels are welcome: poets, novelists, screenwriters, bloggers, journalers, and anyone who simply wants to write.

This cafe is designed for women and femme-identifying people who are Black or bi-racial across the Diaspora—African American, African, Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, Afro-European, etc.

### What to Expect
📖 Warm Welcome
Settle in, meet other writers, and (if you’d like) share your name + what you’re working on.
Our cafe will be serving up signature cafe bevs, wine, and snacks to keep you fueled!
✨ Choose Your Mode
Pick the style of writing that fits your mood:
- Solo Writers – hide away in our nooks for quiet, focused time on your own projects.
- Prompt Circle – gather around our signature mural on the cozy brown couch for themed prompts and timed exercises to spark creativity.
- Collab Crew – take up space! claim your seat at the table for co-creating, brainstorming, or giving feedback.

Everyone dives into their chosen mode with the freedom to flow.

Read aloud, share a line, or just talk about what you worked on. Optional - no pressure.
