What we’re about
The goal of the group is to Educate our clients,community and culture about the importance of breastfeeding. Keeping them informed on the undated statistics scientifically proven information about breastfeeding. Empowering them to ask their medical providers questions, encouraging them to choose a provider that they can trust and are comfortable with.
Hoping to meet Melanated IBCLC‘s from all cultures. All cultures are welcome, but this would totally focus on Melanated IBCLC‘s and our cultures and what we’re facing in our culture and communities when it comes to learning how to breast-feed or getting help when we want to breast-feed.
What we would do at our events.
We will empower each other as Melanated IBCLC’s. We will be a sisterhood that can call on one other in a time of need. Whether that need be for ourselves or for our clients. We will share what we are experiencing in the field. We will help each other find solutions.
