Juneteenth Festival !

A June meet up lineup is not complete without a Juneteenth celebration! Join me at Kino sports center to enjoy the festivities celebrating a significant milestone in America’s history, when the nation truly became free June 19th, 1865. This event is put on by the Tucson Juneteenth Committee whose goal is to  “cultivate a community of people of all backgrounds in a day(s) of unity to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth and African American culture with musical performances, inspiring speakers, storytelling, cultural exhibits, religious observances, kid-zone, food vendors, etc..”
