PHX Weekend: Salt Water Tubing 💦

UPDATE!!
Due to rising costs of Revel Beach rand a majority consensus, I’ve decided to update this meetup to be tubing! In an effort to beat the crowd, it also has been moved up to 8am. I will mot be present but coordination for It can continue in the PHX weekend GroupMe linked right here!! I will do my best to still keep an eye on here for any posts and coordination .

If you still wanted to go to the beach, please know you still can! There just won’t be a formal meetup there! You can always pose the question to those here and/or the GroupMe. Maybe a couple will still want to check it out with you, who knows!

A tubing trip down the Salt River in Arizona is a fun and relaxing way to spend a summer day. The Salt River is a gentle, meandering waterway that winds its way through the scenic Tonto National Forest. The water is usually cool and clear, providing a refreshing respite from the hot desert sun.

To go tubing on the Salt River, rent your tube online - this rental will include a tube and transportation to and from the river!

The Salt River is one of the most popular spots for tubing in Arizona, so you'll be floating alongside other groups of tubers. The scenery along the river is beautiful, with towering saguaro cacti, lush greenery, and the occasional glimpse of wildlife.

After a few hours of floating, you'll arrive at the take-out point, where you will return your tubes and have the time to enjoy a much deserved lunch or snack before heading back home.

A tubing trip down the Salt River is a great way to relax and enjoy the great outdoors with friends and family.

This is located at: 9200 N. Bush Highway
Tube rental is $28 which includes the shuttle to get to the water. There are three choices you can make upon going here.

• The Top: Start here for some fun in the rapids, continue on to the bottom half or get out for a short experience.
• The Bridge: For a calmer float, start at the bridge and enjoy the wildlife and scenery.Ful
• l Float: Start at the TOP and enjoy the best of both worlds, rapids and relaxation

You all will need to decide which kind of float you would like.

Float times may vary depending on the weather and water flow, please ask about float times during check in!
