Catalina Park Night Walk

Details
As a rare turn of events, you all are seeing me post a hike… a night hike! Looks like a cool Tucson experience so I thought I’d try it. Hopefully you all think so too!
According to the site, this hike is approximately 1.5hr. & “begins and ends with a short, steep hill with a slippery gravel from the parking lot, but is largely accessible for many different ages, from young children to the more mature” & “follows a one-mile loop through the towering saguaros and desert landscape, while learning from the ranger about the flora, fauna and geography of the park. Along the route, you’re likely to see desert dwellers up close, including scorpions, bats, night hawks, tarantulas and even javelinas.”
The only price for attendance is admission to the park ($10 entrance fee for vehicles with one occupant and $20 for vehicles with 2-4 occupants).
** Registration is required. DO SO ASAP AS THERE ARE ONLY 18 SPACES AVAILABLE CURRENTLY AND ALL DATES UP UNTIL OCTOBER ARE ALREADYY SOLD OUT**
You can do so here !!
We’ll meet a bit early at 6:15pm before meeting at the main trailhead parking lot near the restrooms with the ranger at 6:25. For those interested, we can grab ice cream after!
please note that any meetup activity requiring $$ is a self pay situation 😉 Please also note you will be marked as a no show if you do not attend and have not changed your RSVP within 1hr of the start of the event
