Welcome to the GenAI meetup in Melbourne, in collaboration with Natural Velocity. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and Agentic AI, hands-on experiences with code labs and workshops, and networking with speakers and fellow AI developers, builders, startup founders.

Tech Talk: Implementing the MCP in a Multi-Agent GenAI Platform
Speaker: Tony Bain (Zeaware)
Abstract: The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is emerging as a standard for enabling structured, contextual interactions between language models, agents, and tools. In this session, we’ll share how we’ve implemented MCP within Zeaware Avalon, our enterprise GenAI platform designed to orchestrate multi-agent AI workflows across structured and unstructured data. We’ll walk through how Avalon uses MCP to manage context, and delegation between agents. Topics covered will include: a) Extending MCP to support multi-agent task chaining; b) Managing dynamic context windows; and c) Integrating retrieval from both vector stores and relational systems.
