Drawing is fundamental to any artistic practice. This course introduces the key elements and techniques of observational drawing and will help beginner students, and artists who would like to revisit the fundamentals.
During this course, you will explore line, tone, proportion and value and discover effective ways to see and use these elements in a drawing. Students will work from Still Life subjects examining a variety of approaches and drawing techniques.
Classes places are limited to ensure one-on-one tuition.
This course will be taught by experienced Artist and Teacher David Hamilton. David has a wealth of experience to share with Melbourne Art Class students. David has a long teaching history at RMIT and Monash University and has had an impressive career as an artist for over 30 years.
