Hey, welcome to the cave, we're looking forward to hanging!
Melbourne Bats is a group of people who are like-minded, quirky, alternative, and just dig having fun.
We are accepting of all people and everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter if you identify as goth, vampire, witch, gamer, alternative, metal or another alt scene - or no scene at all.
All that matters is that you enjoy meeting new people and sharing amazing experiences.
We run a wide variety of meetups, both virtually and in person. From picnics, dinners and nights out on the town; movies, museums and theatre; and games arvos and even day trips. There's something for everyone.

It doesn't matter what you identify as. What matters is that you are you, you are respectful, you are accepting of all us weirdos and you embrace the alternative side of life - this is what the group is about and what makes it amazing.

We completely get that! It can be hard to meet and mingle with new people.
Feel free to lurk in the discord server, then drop a 'hi' when you're feeling comfy. But heads up, you will get a heap of 'Hey! Welcome!' messages :)
