About us

Hello art lovers👩‍🎨 My name is Tanshi. I moved to Melbourne in March this year and have started hosting small, relaxed painting sessions in Brunswick West.
👈Update! We changed the location to the CBD! Became more convenient to access for everyone😊

These sessions are for anyone who:
• has always wanted to try painting but doesn’t know where to start🤔
• enjoys drawing or painting as a hobby and wants to improve🤔
• simply wants a creative and welcoming afternoon with other art lovers😆

A little about me: I studied Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the Arts and later completed a master’s degree in art education. In Japan I taught art at schools and specialist art colleges, working with students from young children through to adults.

For this meet-up, we’ll use water-based acrylic paints to create a small artwork that you can take home and display🖼️

Each session includes a live demonstration from me💪so beginners are absolutely welcome!
