Cisco User Group Meetup

Details

The Cisco User Group was created in early 2016 by local enthusiastic IT professionals. Its purpose is to create a unique and friendly environment where IT professionals can meet up once a month and get to know each other, share knowledge, experiences, skills, learn about careers and much more in a completely relaxed and social environment along with plenty of Free drinks & food!

Meetups run on the first Tuesday of every month at 18:00 (6pm) sharp!

Session Abstract - There is SO much noise in the industry around Zero Trust, but what does any of it really mean to the security practitioner? There is so much marketing hype, where everybody who has a security product is now somehow providing you with Zero Trust solutions.

In this session, we will provide clarity to all this noise, and discuss how a pure Zero Trust model was always intended to be, why and how that model provides for efficient security; the way it changes the paradigm of the problem we face securing our data and our workforce, and how ZT is completely complimentary to a threat-centric approach to security that we have been following for many years.

Presenter: Jatin Sachdeva has been working at Cisco as a Security Specialist for the last 14 years and is currently a Security Architect in Cisco's Global Security Architecture Team. In his Security Architect role, he works with Cisco’s large and strategic clients, advising on security solutions and architectures, with a focus on cross-architectural, business as well as deep technology outcomes.

What to expect: Fantastic friendly people, great presentations, Free drinks & food and sometimes even free books with cool Cisco give-away prizes!!
