Welcome to Melbourne Dog Rescue Meetup.
ABOUT MELBOURNE DOG RESCUE MEETUP GROUP:
Melbourne Dog Rescue Group (and its twin Melbourne Cat Rescue Group) is for dog owners and lovers to:
1. Support lost & stray animal shelters.
2. Meet in dog parks around Melbourne to go for walks and make new friends.
3. Introduce members to the various dog rescue homes around Melbourne.
4. Contribute to animal shelters through volunteering, foster care, adoptions, fund-raising and generally supporting this worthy cause.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to:
1. Help co-ordinate dog walks in your part of Melbourne. Please volunteer if you know any good dog parks around Melbourne and would like to lead a local Meetup - all suggestions most welcome!
2. Foster and adopt lost/stray dogs. Let us know if you would like to be connected with suitable animal shelters.
If you have any ideas for (i) locations for dog walks; (ii) have connections at animal shelters, then please let us know!
