Inaugural Blood on the Clocktower Night

Before coming to Southbank I was looking for a social group to join, somewhere besides work and school that I could hangout and meet people, I scoured many groups of many different interests.

One of those interests I’d tried out was board games, I was seated at a table and got to play Betrayal, which I very much enjoyed. So much so, it became one of my all-time favourites and really helped as an ice breaker for the after-game dinner.

That was many months ago now, and now you know me as one of the hosts of the group. From that first game of Betrayal, I've become aware of, and excited to run a special game day for a social deduction roleplay game.

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game requiring a "storyteller" (me) to take a roughly a dozen people through.
I've organised a space in Southbank (not Boyd this time) where I'll teach the game and run a grand night of bluffing, murder and conspiracy.

To make the night even more memorable, I’m asking everyone attending to come dressed in their best dark fantasy outfits; Cloaks, crowns, eldritch trinkets, whatever helps you step into the world we’ll be creating together.

This event is something I’ve wanted to host for a long time, and I want it to be a reward for the group’s closest friends who’ve helped this community grow into what it is today. As thanks, there’ll be plenty of hot finger food to keep everyone fueled while the mystery unfolds.
