Session Description:
Thinking about being creative to accelerate innovation is not new, it is common practice in good organisations. However, how often do we think about how to innovate so that we stimulate creativity itself? Being creative is not just a serendipitous outcome of a genius working alone. It can be amplified with the right environment and facilitated cocreative conversations. Setting up optimal opportunity spaces (physical and social) to enable socialised interactions, generates chain reactions between the conscious and subconscious minds of individuals and collectives.
Sharing diverse tacit knowledge and experiences to trigger our collective insights opens our sphere of intuition and leads us towards the Creative Leap. In Innovative Creativity, Alex Bennet and Arthur Shelley combine a wide range of rich concepts to bring together practical ideas to innovate on how you can achieve greater creativity, and therefor adaptability, for individuals, teams and organisations. In this session we will explore a few of these concepts in inclusive conversations that you can then facilitate in your own environment and with your SELF.

Our Speaker:
Dr Arthur Shelley has been a collaborator in KM since KM emerged as a professional discipline in the 1990's. Arthur and Dr Alex Bennet have bounced ideas off each other (and others) for over a decade. Some of these interactions have generated coauthored publications including, The Intelligent Social Change Journey (2017), The Profundity and Bifurcation of Change (2020), and Innovative Creativity (2024). Arthur is also the author of several other knowledge, learning and education books including The Organizational Zoo (2007), KNOWledge SUCCESSion (2017), Becoming Adaptable (2021) and (also with Alex) Unleashing the Human Mind Field Guide (2022).
