Build Night with Sugru from Instructables

Instructables is sending us free Sugru to play with! This stuff is basically playdough that hardens into silicone rubber overnight. So you can create new 'rubber' parts, replace/repair plastic stuff.

Some things you can do with it: mold to your phone or camera to make it drop-resistant, make a mold of an object for casting, line your shoe to prevent blisters, replace your broken-off crockpot knob or eyeglass noserest, stick to a metal pot handle as an insulator, turn an old book into an iPad case, etc.

The Instructables website sends out stuff to hackerspaces/makerspaces so we can make things and post tutorials. That's a nice thing for us and for them.
