Design your own Fidget Spinners!

This event (like all of our events!) is free and open to the public. We always accept donations to help keep the lights on of course. This week for arts and crafts night we'll show everyone how to design their own fidget spinner using 3D CAD design software. Do you want one with cat head shapes on the sides? How about a ninja star or very simple design that uses pennies for the counterweights? Bring in your ideas and we can all work together to design the 3D model for your idea. Then if time permits we can start the 3D printer to start printing the plastic version of the 3D model! To take your idea home the plastic and printer use is 10 cents per gram (usually around $1 of plastic for simple models up to $3 or more for heavier, detailed models) plus the cost of the ball bearing(s) and counterweights. If we run out of time to print them we will also be 3D printing during Friday evening's event to finish up.
