Wood Turning 101

The Space Coast Wood Turners is presenting a class to teach students the basics of wood turning.

It will introduce:

• The Lathe
• Necessary safety equipment
• Techniques to attach wood to the lathe
• Basic tools and how to use them
• Tool sharpening
• Wood grain

They will do a demonstration of the different tools & how to use them.

There will be a brief hands-on session so everyone will get an opportunity to use the tools to turn.
