Open House: Metalshop

Free and open to the public!

Metal Shop Open House is now on Tuesday nights! 7-9pm

Want to find out how to work with a milling machine, a lathe, or other metalworking tools? Do you need help with a small project? Would you like to tour the space and find out more about what the Makerspace has to offer? Our Open House volunteers would be glad to help!

We try to present a small demo at each open house.

This Tuesday's demo will be on sharpening woodworking tools, particularly chisels and plane blades. A short presentation will be provided followed by a demonstration of the full grind, hone, polish process.
