This is an entertaining hike through varied mountain bush in Mount Macedon Regional Park. This trail starts with a steep climb in the cool morning air with a magnificent lookout halfway up providing a great view of Mount Macedon just across the valley. The route then takes us through woodland with lots of interesting flora lining the path.

The hike has 440 metres of elevation gain. Due to the uneven terrain and some steep sections you need to have a good level of general fitness. You should have done a 10 km hike in the past few months. Suitable sturdy shoes are recommended.

Note: this hike will be done in collaboration with Meetup group Melbourne Hiking, Nature & Outdoor.
