Skeptics Café will be held in the Mahogany Room at The Stolberg Hotel, 197 Plenty Road, Preston.
Each month, Victorian Skeptics hosts a social night in the pub. We get together for dinner, drinks and good conversation with like-minded individuals.
We have a different speaker each month.
Topic: "The Modern Minoans".
Speaker: Prof. Peter Revesz.
Professor Peter Z. Revesz is a Computer Science researcher who has published many academic articles in technology journals about the relationship between the Hungarian language and various ancient languages such as Hurrian, Sumerian and Minoan.
But do his claims stand up to scrutiny in the fields of linguistics and information theory?
