6:15 - 6:45 PM - Talk 1: Billie Badin-Sabouraud – Engineering Manager @ Thales Australia on Empowering Safer Spaces: Monitoring Social Media Harassment with Python APIs. Billie introduces a work-in-progress project leveraging Python APIs to monitor, track, and document social media hate speech across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, and BlueSky. Attendees will gain insights into scripting practical solutions for detecting and countering online abuse and may join an open-source collaborative effort to foster safer digital environments for all.

7:00 - 7:30 PM - Talk 2: Aman Madaan - Data Science/GenAI Engineer @ ANZ Bank on Prompt Ops : Operationalizing LLM Workflows with Prompt Ops. Prompt ops is emerging as a critical discipline in the era of LLM’s. In this talk, I will explore how Prompt Ops enables scalable, reliable and maintainable prompt engineering workflows. We will dive into best practices for versioning, testing, evaluating and deploying prompts - turning prompt Applications engineering from an art into science with the help of a prompt engineering. Whether you are building internal copilots, customer facing chatbots or LLM powered data tools, this session will equip you with tools and mindset to operationalize your prompts like code.
7:30 - 7:40 PM - Lightning Talk: Renaldi Gondosubroto - Software Engineer @ SEEK on From Image to Insights. This lightning talk shows how to turn a single image into text using Python and Azure AI Vision; covering environment setup, the minimal client call, and safe result parsing. We’ll then zoom out to place this OCR step into a larger, event-driven Azure architecture, highlighting security, observability, and easy ways to scale.
