WHO AM I?
My name is Fiona Phillips and I am an experienced Reiki Practitioner and Shihan (Teacher) in rhe Komyo ReikiDo Lineage, a traditional Japanese system of of Reiki. Like every other systems of Reiki that exists, it is an Usui Reiki Shiki Ryoho and stems back through Hayashi and Usui Senseis. I teach The Usui System of Natural Healing (based on the Komyo ReikiDo Lineage) and am dedicated to preserving the integrity of the original Reiki practices and contains the complete system of spiritual and healing practices.
I have also trained in Levels I & II in Traditional Usui Reiki Shiki Ryoho and Gendai Reiki.
ABOUT REIKI GATHERINGS
I'm inviting a community of fellow Reiki students/Practitioners of any Usui Lineage to meet fortnightly (likely Tuesday evenings 6:30-9:30pm) at a hired venue in Collingwood.
Together we will connect and have some preliminary discussions, do hands-on self-healing and the original spiritual practices and meditations, followed by practicing Reiki on each other exploring various forms.
For those who haven't learnt all the original spiritual and meditation practices in their classes, these will be guided (like any other guided meditation). These are very simple yet powerful spiritual practices from the original system of Reiki and can enhance and support hands-on practice. These foundational practices were taught by Usui Sensei and also Takata Sensei (but some of these got lost over time in some systems and lineages). For those who haven't learnt them this will be a wonderful opportunity to add them to your current practice which will help grow and deepen your hands-on practice and spiritual path.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR MEMBERSHIP
- You have completed at least Level I of an 'IN-PERSON' reiki course where the Lineage traces back to Mikao Usui (online Reiki course graduates are not elligible)
- You are able, If requested, to provide your Certificate of Completion of at least Level I.
This is to ensure Reiki healers who are authentic Reiki Channels join in the Gatherings. If you have questions or concerns about this, please message me, I'd be more than happy to chat with you.
OPEN REIJU OFFERING
As a KomyoReikiDo Reiki Shihan Candidate I will also offer traditional open Reiju (Attunements) on each participant. Reiju was traditionally always given to students/Practitioners in Reiki gatherings by Usui Sensei and Hayashi Sensei. Frequent Reiju helps students/practitioners continue to open their energetic channels and access to Reiki between their daily self-practices. It is considered a continued energetic blessing/expansion similar to the Reiju (Attunements/Initiations) we receive in the various levels of Reiki classes to offer continued energetic support. It doesn't matter what lineage or system you practice - these are Universal Reiju. Everyone can receive them.
VENUE AND COST OF GATHERING
Because of the need to secure a venue, I will need to have numbers at least a week prior to the scheduled meet up and refunds won't be possible (of course I will use my discretion where it is appropriate). Gatherings most likely to be $35 and it is my preference to keep the gatherings small and intimate (10-12 people) for quality of connection and practice.
PURPOSE OF OUR REIKI COMUNITY
This is a no-frills, no gimmicks Reiki community. The simplicity of frequent, dedicated practice is where the depth Reiki's offerings lie. This is about community - designed to offer an open-hearted space for us all to share Reiki with each other, discuss any questions people may have about their own practice, share our personal Reiki experiences and build a beautiful healing community together. The idea to grow and deepen our practices together through regular participation in these Reiki Gatherings.
