We have got a special treat for our next meetup!

Proud to announce the next Melbourne Search meetup will see us welcoming Chris Male, Lucene core committer (and now also part of ElasticSearch) who will be flying in to Melbourne especially to present to us.

Following the upcoming epic release of Lucene 4, Chris will take the opportunity to talk about a few of the exciting features included and what they mean for ElasticSearch and open-source search in general.

As usual, the talk will be accompanied by beer, pizza and excellent conversations around search technologies. We also welcome impromptu lightning talks on interesting discoveries, issues or solutions that have come across your desk.
