The Melbourne Shakespeare Society invites you to a staged reading of 'Titus Andronicus', an intense play often considered Shakespeare's most ferocious (see the recent BBC article: https://www.bbc.com/.../20250422-the-gory-shakespeare...).

One of Shakespeare's earliest plays and his first tragedy, 'Titus Andronicus' is an unflinching story of honour, revenge, and the cost of empire. Expect power struggles, dark humour, and a body count that would make 'Game of Thrones' blush.

What to expect:
- a staged reading of the play by members of the MSS
- afternoon tea and the chance to connect with fellow Shakespeare lovers.

Date: Saturday 7th June
Location: Meeting Room, Collingwood Library
Time: 1pm
Cost: Just $7 per person!
