The Great Trentham Spudfest Day Trip by V/Line

Join me for a day trip to The Great Trentham Spudfest on Saturday 2 May.

Spudfest is Trentham’s well-known annual celebration of food, produce, music, makers, and all things potato. Saturday is the Street Fair day, with multiple precincts across town, plenty of food to try, live music, local stalls, and a lively regional festival atmosphere.

I’ll be travelling there by public transport and anyone is welcome to join.

Plan for the day

We’ll meet at 8:40am outside the V/Line Tickets and Information office (Ground floor) at Southern Cross Station.

The plan is to catch the 9:01am V/Line from Southern Cross Station and return on the 5:44pm V/Line coach from Trentham.

I’ve already purchased my own V/Line ticket, so everyone attending will need to pre-purchase their own V/Line tickets.

Once we get there, we’ll explore the festival at a relaxed pace, grab food, walk around the different areas, and enjoy the day. You’re also welcome to split off for parts of the festival and meet back later.

This is a relaxed, social day trip, so feel free to join if the event sounds interesting and you’re happy with a full day out by public transport.
