LIT 2026: Free Light Installations at Wyndham Park

Join us for a relaxed Thursday night visit to LIT 2026 at Wyndham Park in Werribee.
LIT is a free outdoor light and art event featuring illuminated installations, projections, glowing sculptures, lasers, and creative works from local and interstate artists. We’ll meet near Werribee Station first, then walk over together and explore the event at an easy pace.
This is a casual, low-pressure meetup. You’re welcome to walk with the group, explore at your own pace, take photos, or leave early if you need to.
Some of the 2026 highlights include Breeze, Macula, Pixel Sky, The Cassowaries, Silent Observers, and Acute Immersion. On Thursday 30 April, the official page also lists Music Valley Busker - Alex Langton from 6pm–9pm in the Watton Street area.

Rough timeline
- 6:45pm — Meet outside Pizza Hut at Werribee
- 7:00pm — Walk together towards Wyndham Park
- 7:10pm onwards — Explore the LIT installations at a relaxed pace
- Around 9:00pm — Meetup officially ends, but you can leave earlier or stay longer

There will be a mix of outdoor light installations, projections, glowing artworks, lasers, immersive spaces, and some areas with lower lighting.

This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather. The official event page says events may be cancelled in extreme weather for safety.
Some areas may be darker, and the official event notes mention bright flashes, pulsing light effects, lasers, moving light patterns, and haze effects. Please keep this in mind if you are sensitive to these conditions.
The event page also says bicycles, scooters, and e-scooters are not permitted to be ridden within the event area and must be walked or parked at designated entrances.
This meetup is just a social group visit to the event.
