# Explore the Hellenic Museum – Greek Art, History & Culture

Join me for a relaxed morning at the Hellenic Museum, Australia's only museum dedicated to Greek art, history and culture. Spread over two storeys and ten exhibitions, it takes you from ancient antiquities to contemporary works — science, philosophy, democracy and the stories that connect us all, 8,000 years in the making.

We'll meet at the museum reception at 10:00am to say hello, grab our tickets together, then explore the exhibitions at our own pace. It's an easy, low-key way to spend a Saturday morning and chat to some friendly people along the way.

This is a casual social meetup so we can head along together — it isn't run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Hellenic Museum. You buy your own admission at reception on the day, and an RSVP here doesn't include entry.

Afterwards, anyone who'd like to is welcome to stay on longer or join an optional lunch nearby.

Who this is for

  • Anyone curious about Greek history, art and culture — no background needed
  • People who enjoy museums at a gentle, unhurried pace
  • Solo attendees are very welcome; this is a great one to come along to on your own and meet people
