The Big Turkish Brunch at Mint & Co.

Join me for a long, lazy Sunday brunch at Mint & Co. in Carlton, where we'll be tucking into The Big Turkish Brunch.

Mint & Co. is a Dubai-inspired restaurant and lounge serving Middle Eastern food with a modern Australian twist, with an open outdoor dining area under a retractable roof. The Big Turkish Brunch is their spread made for sharing and picking at slowly over a couple of hours — exactly the kind of meal that's better with company.

We'll meet outside the Mint & Co. gates at 12:15pm, say hello, then head in together and get seated around 12:30pm. From there it's good food, easy conversation, and no rush. We'll wrap up around 2:00pm, and anyone who wants to keep the afternoon going is welcome to stay on.

I'll book one table for the group based on RSVP numbers, so please only RSVP if you genuinely plan to come — and update it if your plans change. Everyone orders and pays for their own food and drinks on the day.

Timeline

• 12:15pm – Meet outside the Mint & Co. gates and say hi

Transport

• Mint & Co. is at 62 University Street, Carlton, a short walk from the University of Melbourne end of the city
• Trams along Swanston Street and Lygon Street will get you close — plan your trip with PTV on the day, as Sunday services can be less frequent
• There is some street parking around Carlton, but it's limited and time-restricted in places, so please check the signs carefully. Allow extra time if you're driving
