We’ll gather just outside The Alley Edition café in the fully covered Howey Place laneway, so you won’t have to worry too much about Melbourne’s unpredictable rain or wind.

Grab yourself a takeaway coffee and enjoy some easy conversations in a relaxed, sheltered setting — whatever the weather decides to do!

When you arrive, feel free to come straight over and say hi to me (my name is Liem and I'm the host). I’ll be there to welcome everyone, introduce people to each other and help get conversations started, so you won’t be left standing around wondering who to talk to.

There’s no pressure to be super outgoing. You don’t need to impress anyone or be great at small talk — just come along, be yourself and meet some friendly people.

## What to expect

We’ll keep things casual and easygoing. Depending on how many people attend, we may naturally break into smaller groups so everyone has a better chance to talk, hear each other and actually get to know a few people.

You’re welcome to move between conversations, meet different people and stay for as long as you like.
