Wandin North to Warburton and back on the Warby trail 55Km 485m Beginner +

Hi,
Join us for a casual ride along the Warburton Rail Trail. We will start at Wandin North Trail info hub, see link here:

This will avoid the climb up to Mt Evelyn in both directions making it a bit more beginner friendly! The ride will be approx 55Km with 480m elevation.

We will stop for Brunch/Lunch in Warburton, or a bakery stop. I believe there is plenty of options in town if people have a personal preference/suggestion then let me know (I've never stopped in Warby for lunch other that the Alpine Hotel)

At the moment the long range forecast looks ok....at the moment it looks good, a few days ago it said a chance of rain, hopefully that stays away!

YOUR BIKE
Suitable for any well maintained bike apart from maybe full road bikes - graded gravel trailway, it's pretty good but full road slicks not so good!
Note: End time is a guesstimate only

ESSENTIAL ITEMS
Spare tube, puncture kit, pump, basic tools - good to have with you.
Rain & warm gear (according to conditions)
Plenty of water for the distance especially if it's going to be hot! Always better to have too much than enough!
Check your app for any changes the night before, and on the day of the ride, as the ride may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
If you realise you cannot make it to the ride please change your RSVP to 'NO' immediately even if you are still on the Waitlist.
