Bayswater loop via Shep Bush and Knox Beginner + casual ride 31Km 190m elevation

Hi,

Join us for a casual ride from Bayswater heading out on the Dandy Creek Trail, first West towards Vermont then South through the Bushy Park Wetlands and Shepherds Bush. From there we will head East on the Blind Creek Trail up to Knox Westfield from which we can take a short detour to Pasture Coffee @ ~ 21.5Km. After a coffee break we will head back to the Blind Creek Trail heading East until we hit the Ringwood-Belgrave Rail Trail and head North through Boronia and back to Bayswater!

Beginner + ride (around 15 kmh average speed).

Parking at Marie Wallace Bayswater Park. Will meet near the toilet block. Dave will be on a black/grey Merida hybrid with rear pannier, Harvey will be on a black Giant gravel bike. See pin here:

Mostly paved surface (85%) with a little bit of gravel so suitable for most well maintained bike

ESSENTIAL ITEMS

Spare tube, puncture kit, pump, basic tools - good to have with you.
Rain & warm gear (according to conditions)
Plenty of water for the distance especially if it's going to be hot! Always better to have too much than not enough!
Check your app for any changes the night before, and on the day of the ride, as the ride may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

If you realise you cannot make it to the ride please change your RSVP to 'NO' immediately even if you are still on the Waitlist.
