Details

Dear TED lovers,

We're back !!

TED Circle is indeed a great platform to be part of something special where people from similar interests come together, listen to a new idea that month, and exchange their respective thoughts to cement the learning.

In the past 2 months, I received personal messages about the TED meetup events. Due to travel I couldn't organise a face to face meetup by myself. But I know that we have always enjoyed our in-person meetup with the company of regular attendees as well as newcomers that make our TED Meetup family grow every month!

Join us to learn more about how we all keep nurturing our creative side of life and also engage and benefit from peer-to-peer learning.

About the topic: It's easy to imagine saving money next week, but how about right now? Generally, we want to spend it. Economist Shlomo Benartzi says this is one of the biggest obstacles to saving enough for living a good life or for retirement, and asks: How do we turn this behavioral challenge into a behavioral solution?

And to be fair, the behavioral re-pattering is not just useful in saving money but in creating other avenues of income as well.

About the Speaker: Shlomo Benartzi uses behavioral economics to study how and why we plan well for the future (or fail to), and uses that to develop new programs to encourage saving for retirement.
