Welcome to the Melbourne Theatre Goers Meetup! We are a dedicated group of live theatre supporters ready to explore the vibrant theatre scene that Melbourne has to offer. Whether you're a seasoned theatre-goer or just discovering the magic of live performances, this is the place to be.
We'll delve into the world of Melbourne's theatre venues, including the Malthouse, Red Stitch, Chapel off Chapel, La Mama, Theatre Works, Arts Centre Melbourne, M Space, 45 Downstairs, Butterfly Club, and Melbourne Theatre Company to name a few. These venues host a wide range of theatrical experiences, from avant-garde productions to classic plays.

Our group is all about bonding over our shared passion for live theatre. Together, we'll applaud outstanding talent and immerse ourselves in the rich cultural offerings that Melbourne's theatre scene has in store for us.

Rules of Membership: you must purchase a ticket before you rsvp that you are coming.
Meetup is not free. Meetup charges organisers huge fees to establish and manage their group. We do not charge membership so please be courtesy of the money, time and effort organisers spend in creating and managing groups.

Only positive reviews or say nothing - Meetup has a very silly system of marking groups down if not all boxes are ticked on the review scale - just silly - we are not Uber, we are not an Airline - we do not need to be reviewed. Theatre is highly subjective - and we value your opinion at our end of play discussion however if you think everyone needs to know your published options - gosh try another group.
