Welcome to our September edition of the Melbourne Web Accessibility & Inclusive Design Meetup!
Our Presentation
‘Game On For Everyone: Accessibility Advocacy in Gaming Development’ with
Dan Camilleri
Dan will share his experience advocating for accessibility in game development, the unique challenges it raises, and the different strategies he's employed to fight for the needs of the players.
Dan is a UI/UX Designer who over the past 8 years has worked with some of Australia's best game developers, such as League of Geeks, Firemonkeys, Hipster Whale and SMG Studio.
Dan is a nerd who cares about how people interact with games, and the ways usability and accessibility can be considered in game development. Leveraging his position as a UX designer, he champions for accessibility and representation in the projects he's involved with, so that as many people as possible can enjoy their experience with the end product.
Join us for this thoughtful presentation followed by community Q&A.
