Join us for a special once-only exploration into old and now rare Cabernet Sauvignon !

Join our sommelier, Antony Anderson (WSET4), for a delightful afternoon of exploring the history and flavours of six cellared wines, over a perfectly matched four-course lunch (see the line up below).

This particular event focuses on the concept of aging wine, and shows how even medium-priced wines can develop into exceptional wines when cellared properly.
Cabernet Sauvignon is special because of its structure, depth and remarkable ability to balance power with elegance.

Known for concentrated blackcurrant, cassis and dark berry flavours layered with cedar, tobacco and savoury spice, Cabernet develops complexity and character beautifully with age while still holding freshness and restraint.
It’s also one of the great food wines, particularly with richly flavoured lamb dishes, because its firm tannins cut through richness while the wine’s dark fruit and savoury notes complement the depth and intensity of the meat. The result is a pairing that feels generous, balanced and effortlessly classic.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to indulge in these fine old wines from three great Australian wine regions, and expand your palate and wine knowledge - come share your favourite wine stories!

The event will be held at Life's Too Short Bar located in Tribeca Arcade, Victoria Parade, East Melbourne VIC, Australia.
Grab your ticket and get ready to sup, sip, savour, and socialise in a cosy atmosphere surrounded by fellow wine enthusiasts.
See you there!
