Life can be challenging and feel good antidotes are important! So welcome to the online book club focussing on books that are positive, fun, and optimistic.

WHAT: This book club is about reading for enjoyment and positivity and for sharing with like minded people. If you haven’t read the book or don’t want to, that's ok! This book club is open to you and our discussions are wide-ranging so come along.

THIS MONTH:
We will be discussing Growing Into Autism by Sandra Thom-Jones. Part personal, funny, and enlightening memoir, and part rigorous explication of the nature of autism, Growing in to Autism helps autistic people feel 'understood, validated and less alone' and also gives non-autistic readers a genuine insight into ways of understanding and making space for a group of individuals in our society who have so much to offer.

Decembers book will be The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin

NOTE: in preparation for next year, please start thinking of up to 5 feel-good book titles to bring to the November meeting. I will compile them into a long list from which we will pick our next 12 books. The list will be available at the December meeting.

WHEN: the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm

WHERE: Online using Zoom. Cameras are appreciated but optional.

WHO: we are inclusive of neuro, gender, and culturally diversity.

HOUSEKEEPING: I've limited the number of places to promote good discussion and easier facilitation. As such, please only RSVP if you will be attending. IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND, please change your RSVP as soon as possible to allow someone else to attend instead.
