Beat the heat Sunday with an early road ride of 100km to Geelong Sth and returning on Vline in the early afternoon when trains are every 20 mins.

Ride: A long/fast road ride to Geelong via backroads (off the freeway) and with a few stops on the way

Distance: 100 km

Note: This is a group ride and suitable only for experienced cyclists and upper intermediates only. This is not a ride for trailing behind nor racing ahead.

Speed: 25-30 km/h typical speeds (not average).
Expecting some push from the prevailing winds so faster with them.
It won't all be tailwinds, though.

Bring: A lightweight conventional road bike in good condition (check it first please) with suitable tyres in good order and a bright rear flashing light on the day, thanks.
