Ride: A one-way ride of 100 kms from Geelong to Melbourne. We'll take a Vline train to Waurn Ponds (Myki required) and ride back on a mixture of paths, streets and country roads. A few hills in Geelong's suburbs will warm us up and we will aim to keep up a decent pace without stressing too much. Breaks for rest / water as required.
Meet: On the platform or on the train for the
9:10 Southern Cross to Waurn Ponds, arriving 10:30
If you ensure you are early, we will have a greater chance of travelling together.
Riders:
Suits Upper Intermediate riders or above, capable of 25 - 30 kmh typical speeds (faster if expected tailwinds align) and on conventional lightweight road bikes only.
Lunch: Lara - inside the shopping centre / bakery cafe most likely

Bring:
-Snacks & energy bars, water, tools, tube, phone, money for lunch and emergencies, Myki.
-Fit and use a very bright flashing tail light and wear a bright coloured (ie Not black) jersey top or gilet, please.
