Street Art Recce
Details
A Thursday ride exploring backstreets and alleys between Fitzroy, Collingwood and Abbotsford for street art and anything worth looking at ๐
- Melbourne area: 15ยฐ, partly cloudy, light winds https://reg.bom.gov.au/places/vic/melbourne/forecast/detailed/#d2026-07-16
It's a long time since I did a street art ride and I'm not sure what art has survived the weather since then but let's have a look together.
I'll have a partial recce during the week, myself. There may be some cobblestones involved, by the way.
This will be more random as we look for street art and other interesting things and may include cycling to places to find nothing of interest. We'll have lunch along the way and finish before 2pm, possibly with a ride on Yarra Boulevard around Burnley and the Yarra Trail back into town.
Meet for a coffee, if you are early, at The Atrium in Flinders St. The Atrium is behind Federation Square and opposite Hosier Lane. See pin drop on map.
Bike: Any bike should be suitable. Pump your tyres, please.
Pace: 20 kmh max, give or take. We'll stop a lot.
Bring: Spare tube and any tools. Please check your tyres for condition and recommended pressure before coming.
