A social ride mostly on paths for a brunch/coffee stop at iconic Fairfield Boathouse.
Showers might appear later in the day so a morning ride is called for.

We'll ride via the Main Yarra Trail to Dights Falls for the view and stop at Fairfield Park Boathouse for brunch/coffee. We then head north a short way to Fairfield Station to see a very large wooden dog object and west on quiet backstreets to Northcote (Ruckers Hill) for a good view of the city skyline before returning via Park St (Capital City Trail) and Canning St to town.

An easy ride for any type of bike but it will be best if you leave large pannier bags at home, please.

Distance: approximately 30 Km.

Speed: about 22 km/h tops

Forecast : Cloudy. 15°. High chance of showers, most likely later in the day. Winds northerly 15 to 25 km/h increasing to 20 to 30 km/h during the morning. Bring a spray jacket just in case.
