City - Dandenong via Jells Park (48km, +373m )
Details
Using a modified route from last time for a different way into Dandenong; We'll turn from East Link Trail to continue with Dandenong Creek Trail to Dandenong (via Tirhatuan Park).
Distance is about the same as other times on this ride.
Ride:
We'll be mostly on shared paths, starting with Main Yarra Trail, Gardiners and Scotchmans Creek Trails to Jells Park then East Link Trail / Dandenong Creek Trail to Dandenong.
Check the route map, please. It does have hills for strong legs.
You can opt on the day to ride, a bit faster, back to town (35km on Djerring Trail, etc) with me afterwards.
Stops: Coffee/water stop at Jells Park after 30 km or so and lunch stop (better coffee and food) at Abdallah Brothers Lebanese Bakery in Dandenong.
There will be stops for water & toilets along the way as necessary, of course.
Forecast: 15°C and light winds. Light 10% chance of a shower (0-1mm for the day)
